About
Hi, I’m Daniel, a designer and visual storyteller.
My work moves between packaging, photography, branding and digital projects, bringing ideas to life across different mediums.
For the past several years I’ve been designing packaging and product identities at Pottery Barn (Williams-Sonoma, Inc.), developing systems across home scent, personal care, tabletop, digital and seasonal collections.
Alongside that, I run my freelance studio, Triassi Studio, collaborating with brands including Apple, Heath Ceramics, Visa, Square, Zillow and Four Seasons.
Before that, I worked at Chronicle Books, where I combined several of my favorite things: design, storytelling and food. One of my favorite projects was the Tartine Bread cookbook.
My love of travel started during my freshman year of college on my first trip to Japan. The rhythm of everyday life felt like stepping into another universe.
That curiosity eventually turned into sharing my iPhone photography online. Years later, partnering with Apple felt like a full-circle moment.
When I’m not designing or traveling, you’ll usually find me listening to Sade, spending time in nature, and cooking. I’m known among friends for my chocolate chip cookies and ambitious recipe attempts like Don Angie’s lasagna pinwheels made from scratch.
In the end, most of my work comes back to the same thing: noticing the beauty and stories in everyday life.
